McKissack & McKissack Legacy Presentation

McKissack & McKissack is the oldest minority-owned architecture and construction company in the United States. The NOMAnash’s McKissack 100 Celebration Committee gave an in-depth presentation on how founders Moses III & Calvin grew this legacy from their Nashville roots; to create the nation's first black-owned architecture enterprise. We would like to thank Lynn Jolley, Aron Thompson, Charlie Green, C.J. Amlin, Harold Thompson, Jaysette Harris, Melvin Gill, and Michael Green for compiling and presenting this important history. Special thanks to the McKissack family for sharing images, and family history with us. Please enjoy the presentation recording above. This is only the start of the celebration!
